Bull AI Labs vs Peec AI: they show where you rank, we show why you don't

Peec AI is the cleanest answer-tracking dashboard in the category: daily rank, sentiment, and citation monitoring across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI, captured from real browser sessions, from about $95 a month[01]. Bull AI Labs works one layer down. When your rank is low, Peec shows you the number. We fetch your pages live as ChatGPT-User and its peers, diff raw against rendered, find what the agent could not read, ship the engineering fix, and re-probe until it verifies. Track the score with anyone. Change it with us.

    Credit, in specifics

What Peec AI is genuinely great at.

Peec AI has the cleanest UI in the category, unlimited seats on every plan, and 115+ languages with regional benchmarking. It captures answers from real browser sessions rather than API approximations, and it publishes transparent pricing from about €85/$95 a month[01]. It has raised ~$29M, including a Series A led by Singular in November 2025[02], and counts Zalando, Hugo Boss, and ElevenLabs as customers[02].

It is a very good scoreboard. A scoreboard cannot tell you why the ball did not go in.

    The core distinction

    A rank without a reason.

Peec's Crawlability feature reads your server logs to verify which AI bots visited and checks your robots.txt[03]. That is retrospective observation, and it carries the same limits as any log: it cannot describe a page no bot has hit, it records visits rather than what was readable, and it cannot diff raw against rendered. Independent reviews land in the same place: Peec does not audit technical AEO health beyond log observation[04], and it “tracks rather than executes”[05].

TRACKING VS FETCHINGTHE WEDGE · 01
“A rank tells you the number moved. It cannot tell you what the agent received when it reached for your page. That answer lives in the fetch: raw versus rendered, same URL, same second. Everything we fix starts there.”
    Beat 01 · Retrospective

Logs are retrospective. A bot has to have already visited. A log says nothing about a page no agent has hit yet.

    Beat 02 · Status codes

Logs record status codes, not content. A 200 on an empty React shell is logged identically to a 200 on a complete page.

    Beat 03 · No diff

Logs cannot diff. What your browser assembles versus what ChatGPT-User actually received is the entire question, and no log contains it.

    The loop

Their loop ends at a number. Ours ends at verified.

Peec's loop is capture, chart, report. Ours is Probe, Persist, Generate, Ship, Re-probe, Verified. Two clocks govern the outcome, and we label them clearly: retrieval eligibility moves in 24 hours to 7 days; answer share takes 3 weeks to a quarter. We will not let anyone sell the second clock as the first.

The fetch layer is where the causes live. In 802 persisted probe runs from our production corpus (17 Aug 2026), ChatGPT-User received a 403 on 96 runs. A browser user agent hitting the same properties received a 403 on 7[08]. Same sites, same paths - the difference is who is asking. A scoreboard reads that as a flat rank. A probe reads it as a finding with a fix.

    Deadline

The gap widens on 15 September 2026.

From 15 September 2026, Cloudflare blocks Training and Agent crawlers by default on ad-displaying pages for new domains, while the Search class stays allowed[07]. Every week, more of the web 403s the exact user agents that answer buyer questions.

A scoreboard shows your rank sliding after it slides. A probe shows you the block before it costs you.

    Pricing

    What each dollar buys.

    Peec AI

Public pricing, verified 24 Aug 2026[01]

    • Starter, ~€85/$95 per month. 50 prompts, 5 engines, unlimited seats.
    • Pro, ~€205/$245 per month. More prompts and higher capture cadence.
    • Advanced, ~€425/$495 per month. GSC and GA4 integrations are gated here.
    • API access sits on enterprise and agency tiers.

Fair note: transparent pricing and a real 7-day trial with no credit card are genuinely good, and rarer in this category than they should be.

    Bull AI Labs

    The audit is free

The free audit shows the full diagnosis: the two-fetch diff on your own pages, competitor citations on your queries, and every engineering finding behind them. Paid plans start when you want the remedy: shipped fixes, continuous probes, and re-verification on cadence.

Peec charges $95 to show you the score. The reason your score is low is free.

Never gate proof. Only gate remedy.

    Honest routing

    Which one is yours.

    Pick Peec if

    • You want the cleanest daily scoreboard across many markets and languages.
    • You need unlimited seats for a big content org.
    • You are in the EU and want European data residency.

    Pick Bull AI Labs if

    • Your site is React, Next, or Vue and you have never seen your raw fetch.
    • You are on Cloudflare or a WAF and have never tested ChatGPT-User for a 403.
    • Your Peec rank is flat and nobody can say why.
    • You want fixes shipped and verified, not a recommendations list.
    • You want proof before you pay.

The two compose. Several teams run a tracker for the scoreboard and us for the fetch layer underneath it. When the scoreboard moves, the re-probe is the receipt that says why.

    Full disclosure

    Straight answers.

Peec tracks more markets and languages than we do. 115+ languages with regional benchmarking is real coverage. Observing answers was never the bottleneck; fetching pages is.

We do not have SOC 2 Type II yet. The audit runs against your public pages and needs no data access.

Our probes run from one region today, disclosed on every report. Peec's EU data residency is a real advantage for European buyers.

    FAQ

    Questions buyers actually ask.

Is Bull AI Labs a Peec AI alternative?

Partially. Peec is an answer-tracking dashboard: rank, sentiment, and citations across five engines. Bull AI Labs works one layer down, probing what AI agents can actually fetch on your pages, then shipping and re-verifying fixes. Teams that mainly want a scoreboard keep Peec. Teams that want to move the number add us.

    What does Peec AI do?

Peec AI monitors where your brand ranks in AI answers. It captures responses from real browser sessions across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI, daily, in 115+ languages, and reports rank, sentiment, and citations from about $95 a month. It is a measurement product, and a clean one.

    Does Peec check crawlability?

Peec has a Crawlability feature that reads your server logs to verify which AI bots visited and checks your robots.txt. That is retrospective: it describes visits that already happened and cannot show what a bot could read. Third-party reviews note it does not audit technical AEO health beyond log observation.

    What is a two-fetch diff?

A two-fetch diff loads the same URL twice in the same second: once as a browser that executes JavaScript, once as an AI agent that does not. Comparing the two responses shows exactly which content AI search can cite and which content never arrives. Bull AI Labs probes ten crawler user agents this way.

Why is my AI visibility score not improving?

Usually because nothing about what the agent receives has changed. A tracker can show a flat rank forever; it cannot tell you why. The common causes are fetch-level: a 403 on ChatGPT-User, or a JavaScript shell the agent never renders. Both are detectable in one free probe.

    Do AI assistants run JavaScript?

Generally no. Agent-class crawlers such as ChatGPT-User, Claude-User, and Perplexity-User fetch raw HTML and do not execute JavaScript. Vercel measured 569 million GPTBot and 370 million ClaudeBot requests in a single month with zero JavaScript execution. Googlebot is the notable exception: it renders.

Can I use Peec and Bull AI Labs together?

Yes, and several teams do. Peec keeps the daily scoreboard across markets and languages; Bull AI Labs owns the fetch layer underneath it: probes, fixes, and re-verification. When the scoreboard moves, you will know which shipped fix moved it, because the re-probe is the proof.

Peec can tell you the score. Find out why it is not moving.
